Performance
Crenz Protect is a non-flammable, non toxic, water based formulation for used on most portland-cement containing materials. It contains no solvents or harmful levels of VOCs. It is not carcinogenic or mutagenic, and may be used in food preparation areas. It does not contribute to bacterial growth. Crenz Protect is odorless during and after application and also allows the concrete to breathe.
Crenz Protect may be applied to new or existing surfaces. We recommend that new surfaces be cured to meet ASTM requirements. On fully cured concrete, the treated surface can be used as soon as it is dry to the touch (usually 1 to 2 hours).
Optimum water repellence and hardness develops within seven days. Do not used acidic cleaners. Aggressive cleaning with a neutral to high pH detergent works best for long term maintenance.
