This project involved restoration of 10,500 square feet and installation of polished concrete flooring by Crenz.

Scope of project included removal of 21,000 pounds of concrete dust
and contaminants in first grinding passes. As well as additional removal of 3/4" of overlays, epoxies, oil paint, tile grout adhesive, carpet glue and self-leveling.

Project required a specific technical skill to undertake restoration of an eighty year old concrete slab (as per images) and cementicious marble chip flooring (not shown) and installation of polished concrete flooring. Process included application of custom slurry mix to reconstitute slab.

This historic building was unused for 7 years.

The building had been the original International Harvester dealership location in the 1930's on 10 Avenue SW in Calgary.
